Arizona plein air

I had a chance to go paint with the Arizona Plein Air Painters last week. Finally the weather is cool enough to enjoy being outside for hours at a time. I only found one other artist to paint with once I arrived but we enjoyed each other's company and painted all morning. Here is a progress shot of my 9 X 12 oil. This is on the Brown's Ranch Trail in the McDowell Mountains.
